Amma Badoo-Asante

During her study Amma Asante was already active in Ghana and concerned with the development in the world. In 1992 she was an adviser for the ‘Stichting Ghanese Gemeenschap’ (a foundation for the Ghanaian Community), after this she started a career in the political party ‘Partij van de Arbeid (PVDA)’ focusing mainly on integration, child abuse and development. As a volunteer she was involved with ‘Fight Hunger Amsterdam, United Nations Food program’, the tv-program ‘Voorheen Girls’ of NPS, and presented NCDO day in 2007. At the moment she is responsible for the real estate and capacity for ‘Centraal orgaan opvang asielzoekers’, and in the manager program called ‘VisieNederland’.

Farid Tabarki

Farid Tabarki is an entrepreneur and very involved with the World. In his early years he already started with research on several social and environmental areas. He co-operated with research projects derived from ‘Kennisland’, coordinated ‘I love Politics’, and was involved with ‘Signs of the Time’s Coolhunt’. Moreover he was responsible for the development and editing ‘MTV Coolpolitics’, ‘Culture Clash’, and other projects for the foundation. Since 2005 he leads and presents debats, events and workshops for: De Balie, Plan Nederland, NCDO, Congregation of Amsterdam, MySpace, Dutch Chamber of Commerce, Both Ends and the European Parliament. Currently Farid is focussing as a founder and director of Coolpolitics Research on the (European) Youthculture. In this light he is launching the European Reseach project ‘A search into the heart and mind of Europe’s twentysomethings’.
